What Changes After Therapy

Our Founder
Cub Larkin built the practice he could not find.
His own time in counseling, and years of conversations with people in marginalized communities, kept surfacing the same thing. LGBTQIA+, kink, polyamorous and other underrepresented communities were misunderstood or quietly ignored inside the mental health field. So he built a practice that centers compassion, competence and representation instead, and brought together clinicians who do not need any of it explained to them.

I've been regularly attending sessions through Inclusive Therapy Group for roughly a year and a half. Finding the right therapist is an endeavor in and of itself, but I struck gold with my therapist Brent Ruebensam. He has been instrumental on my journey towards healing, growth and empowerment. He listens, makes me think, and does exactly what I need: challenges me. Most important, it's obvious that he cares. Therapy can be hard, but having someone like Brent makes it so much easier.
Wonderful, caring people. It’s tough being a gay man and finding a therapist who understands our issues. At another place, I felt like I had to do a lot of “educating” to teach my therapist basic terms in the LGBTQIA+ community. That’s not true with the Inclusive Therapy Group… they know us

I value Inclusive Therapy Group because I feel SEEN and ACCEPTED. I don’t need to worry if my therapist will invalidate me in my queerness, and I can just focus on what matters to me in my sessions. I appreciate this group of therapists for creating a safe space!

So happy I found this company. They actually listen and give great guidance and advice. I’ve been other places and never really felt like anybody listened to me or cared about what was going on. That is absolutely not the case here these folks are great
