Emily Marziani (she/they) is a licensed clinical social worker in the State of Pennsylvania. Emily specializes in working with clients in the LGBTQIA+ community and those living with personal and medical traumas and grief/loss. Many of Emily’s client’s seek therapy to overcome trauma, process their losses and work through their healing process. Emily also enjoys working with folks who are living with chronic illnesses, work in healthcare or are going through a life change and embracing their true identities.
Emily’s therapeutic style is eclectic but rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Internal Family Systems with a holistic and person-centered approach. This means that Emily will draw from multiple wells of knowledge to tailor the therapeutic sessions to each client. Emily believes in the whole person and will take into account your mental and emotional wellbeing along with the physical, spiritual and social aspects of your life. Using IFS and CBT, Emily will guide clients as they learn how their thoughts and feelings impact their behavior and how there are many different parts of ourselves that create our identities - there are no bad parts to you. Emily will work with clients on how to manage and change the negative self-talk and thoughts they may have to increase their self worth and wellbeing.
Emily’s therapeutic style is warm, humorous and non-judgemental. Emily believes everyone deserves a safe space that they can be seen, heard and validated within. In her spare time, Emily enjoys fiber arts, fostering senior dogs and reading.
