Cub Larkin (he/him) is a licensed therapist who helps people feel more at home in themselves—whether that means healing from trauma, quieting anxiety, letting go of shame, or just untangling the messy stuff.
He’s licensed in Florida, Illinois, Maine, Massachusetts, and Oregon, and works primarily with LGBTQIA+ folks, as well as those in kink, BDSM, Dominant/submissive dynamics, and consensual non-monogamous or polyamorous relationships.
Cub brings a warm, down-to-earth, and nonjudgmental energy to therapy. He knows it can be hard to open up—especially if you’ve been made to feel like who you are or how you love isn’t okay. Cub creates a space where all parts of you are welcome, and where growth doesn’t have to mean leaving pieces of yourself behind.
His work blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP). He helps clients understand how their nervous system and thought patterns shape their experience of the world—and teaches practical tools to feel more grounded, clear, and in control. Whether it’s learning to challenge inner criticism or reprocessing painful memories, therapy with Cub is about creating room for healing and self-trust.
Cub holds certifications as a Certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, Certified EMDR Therapist, Certified Safe and Sound Protocol Provider, and is a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor. But more than anything, he’s passionate about making therapy a space where you can be fully yourself—and maybe even like who that is.
When he’s not in session, Cub enjoys spending time with his extended polycule, often spending time at the “House of the Mouse” and their beloved crew of pets—including five cats (Optimus Prime, Princess Leia, Nebula, Pina Dole Whip, and Chip) and one very opinionated corgi named Marie Baguette.
