Nicole Obih is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides compassionate and affirming therapy to individuals seeking growth, healing, and self-acceptance. Nicole specializes in working with clients who are navigating their identity, including those who identify as LGBTQ+. Many of Nicole’s clients come to therapy to process life transitions, address internalized shame, improve self-esteem, and heal from past trauma. Nicole also works with individuals managing relationship issues, codependency, and the unique challenges that come with these experiences.
Nicole’s therapeutic approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and strengths-based, trauma-informed care. Through this approach, clients learn how their thoughts influence their emotions and behaviors while developing skills to challenge negative self-beliefs. Nicole helps clients foster self-compassion, build emotional resilience, and gain insight into patterns that may be holding them back from true growth. For those working through trauma, Nicole provides grounding techniques and coping strategies to manage distress, while offering a safe space for processing difficult experiences at a pace that feels right for them.
With a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental approach, Nicole creates an environment where clients feel heard and supported. Believing that everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive, Nicole is dedicated to helping clients step into their most authentic selves and build lives that align with their values.
