Max is a queer, neurodivergent therapist with a passion for supporting individuals navigating Gender Identity, Sexuality, Anxiety, Depression, and the complexities of Neurodiversity. With a deeply affirming approach rooted in lived experience, Max creates a welcoming and collaborative space for folx of all backgrounds to explore, heal, and grow.
Max is a Licensed Professional Counselor in both Texas and Ohio and a Board-Certified Music Therapist. Their professional background includes working in both inpatient and outpatient settings with clients across the lifespan.
Max believes therapy should be a space where you feel safe, seen, and respected. Life doesn’t come with a roadmap, and Max sees the therapeutic relationship as a partnership—one where you are the expert in your life, and they serve as a compassionate guide. Clinical approaches are tailored to your unique goals and lived experience, always grounded in the belief that everyone deserves a life of dignity, fulfillment, and authenticity.
Outside of the therapy room, Max lives in El Paso, Texas with their wife and an ever-growing family of eleven rescue pets. In their spare time, you’ll find Max playing guitar or ukulele, making homemade pasta, or watching sci-fi movies.
