What This Group Is
DBT Skills Training is a structured, skills-focused group designed to help you manage emotions, tolerate distress, communicate more effectively, and feel more grounded in daily life.
This group is skills training, meaning we’ll focus on learning and practicing tools you can use right away—between sessions, in real life, with real humans.
What You’ll Learn
You’ll practice DBT skills in four core areas:
Mindfulness: Stay present, reduce spirals, and respond instead of react.
Distress Tolerance: Get through hard moments without making them worse.
Emotion Regulation: Understand emotions and shift patterns that keep you stuck.
Interpersonal Effectiveness: Ask for what you need, set boundaries, and protect relationships (including the one with yourself).
Bonus: You’ll leave with repeatable strategies—not just insight.
