Katrina Guittar (she/they) is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Dance/Movement Therapist, serving clients across Massachusetts and Florida. They have experience working with people from diverse cultures, ages, and identities, with a special focus on supporting LGBTQIA+ community members in healing from trauma, exploring identity, and strengthening the mind-body connection.
Katrina’s approach is collaborative, non-judgmental, and grounded in a strong therapeutic alliance. They draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), expressive arts, and movement-based therapies, always centering the unique needs and strengths of their clients. In sessions, Katrina helps clients explore how thoughts, feelings, and actions connect, while also using body-based techniques to gently access and process subconscious memories stored in the body.
Blending talk therapy with creative and movement practices, Katrina creates a supportive space where clients can safely reconnect with themselves, shift unhelpful patterns, and build healthier alternatives. Their style is warm, curious, and authentic, often inviting creativity and humor into the process.
Katrina believes in honoring each client’s authenticity and self-expression, providing resources and tools to help them heal, build self-esteem, and move toward a more fulfilling, empowered life.
